T-Levels were launched in September 2020. They mix learning within the classroom with experience whilst on the job. T-levels are equivalent to 3 A Levels and are 2 year courses.
There are only currently 3 T Levels available, with 7 more being available from September 2021. Further introductions will take place in 2022 or 2023.

Compulsory elements in the T-Level Course:
- A placement within the industry lasting a minimum of 315 hours.
- The minimum pass grade in English and Maths if not achieved at GCSE.
- A technical qualifications, combining both ‘core theory, concepts and skills for an industry are and specialist skills and knowledge for an occupation or career.
